Forgive but Never Forget

 I have a cousin who is an adult with adult children that covered parts of herself in mud and claimed that a black man attacked her! Another example of a white woman claiming some injury that a black man inflicted. I am totally grossed out by this. I believe people can change but it takes a certain type of someone to make something like that up. I don’t care how long ago something like that happened. You’re seriously dead to me and I don’t mourn the loss. Hopefully her kids know better. I seriously doubt her kids even know and they should. 

I’m a black person and my own family member did something racist and horrible. I have an interesting relationship with race. I am so disgusted and offended by something that happened over 37 years ago. I just can’t help it. You certainly don’t pick your family and I ended up with a wild one.

My aunt and uncle have a blended family. Because of this, my family is rather large. I have a disabled cousin that is apparently ignored by my family members. That is so wrong. What are you doing?
