You can catch more flies with honey

 I recently had a stranger online call me a fool and actually define a word to me. Having a definition as a response is incredibly condescending. I’m an adult and I don’t appreciate a stranger defining a word to me. You catch more flies with honey. Even if you have a point, it’s immediately nullified if you say it in an offensive manner. I really don’t expect or need a person to agree with my opinion. It’s just an opinion, you are free to have your own. 

I’m from a time where personal politics weren’t discussed. I think that’s why I’m totally cool with others having a different opinion than me. It’s such a detriment to have Yelp. For some reason you think that your opinion is really important. That’s for sure an unpopular opinion but it’s just that. An opinion. I don’t think you’re entitled to be rude because you have a different view than I do. Sorry not sorry.

You can still be a nice person when you don’t agree with somebody. Excuse me for being so graphic, but, opinions are like assholes, everybody’s got one.
