Pressure
Before my tumor, I spent a lot of time standing. The job I had I was on my feet basically the whole time. Ever since surgery I’ve been in a wheelchair. I guess it’s the pressure but after some time my butt really starts to hurt. This also happens when I take long car rides.
I know that it’s weird but lying down is just more comfortable. I think it’s because my body weight is more evenly distributed. I discovered this in the nursing home and of course I was ridiculed by staff members.
I would watch a lot of tv. I went from virtually no tv to a ton of it. I worked so much, I didn’t have time. It was such a bad job. It’s just easier to lie down. I can’t do anything but I wish I was doing more. I’m screwed when my iPad dies. My friends from high school banded together and bought it for me when I was in the nursing home. I’m so grateful for it. I listen to books, watch tv, watch YouTube, play Lumosity, etc. I’ll handle it when it dies.
